Sounds good at idle, but like any 4.3L it just gets ricey as hell at higher RPM... Probably just has no muffler just a resonator, and an echo tip, with no cat... Probably.
Still one of the best sounding I would agree

I remember reading that guys build thread on S10 Forum a good while back. Definitely a great sounding motor....at idle. The *riceness* can be tamed, but hardly anyone goes through the trouble or expense to make that happen. Most go for the best flow possible with no cat, large diameter tubing and a high flow muffler.
The motor in my Regal GS is the exact same way, but can be tamed as well. I'm half way there with getting it to sound right, but am still toying with the right muffler. Having the right diameter of pipe for the power you are making, in conjunction with very good resonators....is the key on a gas motor. The first thing most people throw out, is the resonators. There's your riceness. FM's bring the *tin* sound and totally suck IMO on a V6.

I have to disagree with the FM statement. I really like mine and it (IMO) sounds good at any rpm. that being said, it's no V8
JMO though

Rusty, just repost it in the mature section. We do want to keep the main site clean for viewers of all ages. I still kinda taste the the little bit of puke that came up from when I watched that earlier... Gives a whole new meaning to "ride the wave"!

I thought the Rhino sport UTV was more of a sport toy, versus a Mule like work horse. Regardless, a 180 HP R1 motor has gotta blow the water out of the 25 some odd hp that the Rhino comes with stock! I would imagine that they built this more for high speed sand dune running, over slow technical rock crawling... CLICK R1 Rhino wheelies |

Check it out Redneck Yacht Club. Sorry if its old, but I ain't seen it before. Sorry if you don't like country music, you can turn it down... :P
The last clip is almost exactly what happened to me about a mile off shore in my dads big boat (which he just sold a month ago- but it was a 21' deep vee cuddy cabin with a 150hp mercury). What happened with us was a "rogue" wave from a ship which was going entirely too fast (imagine that ) started "breaking" right as we went into it, and our boat reacted the exact same way as that one did in the video(or felt like it anyways)

Incredible Aerobatics
Billy sent this to me, and I've never seen anything like this. Absolutely awesome flying. Here's some info about the pilot that was in the e-mail Billy sent me: "The pilot is Kirby Chambliss and the aircraft is the Edge 540T, capable of a 420 degree per second roll rate and a 3,700 foot per minute climb rate. Chambliss holds a bunch of acrobatic records, is a 47 year old native Texan from Corpus Christi, flies commercially for Southwest Airlines, and now lives in San Antonio." |

Different operating systems are affected by it like what he is describing. On my Dell Inspiron 700 M, I have Windows XP, and can view pretty much anything with Firefox. But on my son's older "brick" laptop that runs Windows 2000, I can't view any video on the net.......not even a video on Youtube!!! Gotta open it in IE to see it. It tells me to download these plug-ins, I do it....and it changes nothing. Oh well.
